Bar Vasa, a Mediterranean style restaurant/bar with private hire facility, situated on the Esplanade in Folkestone, entered into receivership on 14 June 2010. 

Chris Stevens and Ian Vickers, partners at FRP Advisory LLP, were appointed Joint Receivers of the property at 4-5 The Esplanade, Sandgate. The property also contains four long leasehold flats on the second and third floors. 

The Joint Receivers are continuing to trade the business, including the bar, restaurant and private hire VIP lounge, as a going concern, whilst a purchaser is sought for the freehold.
