Our approach to Learning and Development

Just as we want to enable our clients to fulfil their ambitions, we want to encourage our people to build careers and develop their expertise. We understand the need for our people to get the training and development they require to reach their full potential and want to ensure that the right opportunities are available to support the growth of their knowledge.

Trainee options: 

FRP Advisory offers training options for graduates and school leavers in a number of insolvency teams and locations.  We ensure that trainees receive the high quality training and development they need in order to pass their professional examinations and to work effectively in their roles. 

• ACA/ACCA training contracts
  We provide fully funded study for the ACA/ACCA qualifications. During the three year training period, trainees attend external training courses and benefit from paid study time. 
  
  
• School Leavers
  School leavers are provided with full study support for either AAT or the Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business (CFAB) exams.  On completion of these exams,  trainees who demonstrate an aptitude to progress are encouraged to move on to the ACA training, via the ICAEW top-up route.
  
  
• Summer Internships 
  We occasionally have opportunities from under-graduates who are keen to add value to their CV by commencing a summer internship in London or Essex.
  
  
• Options for further study?
  On completion of the ACA/ACCA training, trainees have the option to progress onto the fully funded JIEB qualification route.
  
  
• Entry requirements
  ACA/ACCA 2:1 degree (any discipline)
  
  School leavers  Minimum of five GCSE’s (grade A* to C) including Maths and English and 2 ‘A’ levels (grades A* to C).
