What a few of our trainees had to say

Dominic Roberts
Trainee Insolvency Administrator
I joined FRP Advisory and its predecessor firm in September 2008 and was immediately assigned to a team working on-site at a company in Northumberland. The company involved had been placed into Administration and we decided to continue to trade the business in the hope of selling it as a going concern, thereby saving jobs and giving a better return for all involved.
The atmosphere and work was fast paced and constantly changing, as we negotiated with suppliers to continue to supply the company during the administration period, dealt with all manner of regular business activities and liaised with potential purchasers.
I am happy to say that at the end of the 4 months, we managed to sell the company as a going concern saving 200 people from being made redundant – no easy feat in the current climate!
I am now back in my office at FRP Advisory on a more regular basis and have a case portfolio to manage, as well as new cases arriving all the time.
As for the social side, there are always social activities being planned, be they as simple as going out for drinks on Friday night or an organised social event at either the team or local office level such as a quiz night or barbeque.
