Chris is a licensed Insolvency Practitioner and has gained experience in all areas of business recovery and insolvency.

Chris had six years experience at a Big Four firm, where he undertook various trading Receivership and Administrations, specialising in industry sectors such as Manufacturing, Printing and Construction.

He has assisted many individuals and businesses across the East Midlands region, with close links in Derby, Nottingham and Leicester, offering informal and formal solutions to their financial difficulties.

In his spare time Chris has a variety of interests including sport - best described as a steadily improving golfer now as the more active sports have given way to a stroll round 18 holes followed by refreshments. For his sins a keen football supporter. Chris also enjoys being outdoors both walking with the dog in the Peaks and Lake District and riding a mountain bike on flat areas around the countryside. He also enjoys watching the latest releases at his local cinema.

Nathan Jones

Nathan Jones joined FRP Advisory in the East Midlands from the insolvency division of a mid-tier accountancy firm, as an appointment-taking director.

With 14 years’ experience in insolvency, including three years at a Big Four predecessor firm, Nathan has advised mid-market and owner-managed businesses across the East and West Midlands.

Offering a wealth of experience in corporate insolvencies across a range of different sectors, Nathan has particular experience of providing advice to care homes and domiciliary care agencies and has worked on a number of large, complex cases in the region.

Nathan is a licensed insolvency practitioner and has strong relationships with a variety of local accountants, lawyers and lenders to whom he has provided insolvency and restructuring advice over the years.

Nathan has a young family and, when time permits, also enjoys sports including golf and hockey.

Maya Kachhela

Position: Insolvency Cashier

Maya started her career as an insolvency cashier with one of the Big Four firms in 2002 before joining FRP Advisory’s preceding firm in 2005. Maya now has over 10 years of experience as an insolvency cashier and whilst based in the Leicester office she also works for our Manchester office. She is one of the head/senior cashiers and is primarily responsible for all cashiering functions within the Midlands. In addition Maya is also involved in setting new firm standards and training. As well as the cashiering Maya also deals with debt collection and other ad hoc assignments to support the wider team.

Outside of work Maya likes socialising with friends and family, going on holidays and keeping fit by playing badminton once a week and going to the gym

Yasmin Jamal

Position: Assistant Manager

Yasmin graduated in 2006 from Loughborough University after achieving a 2:1 in management sciences. She qualified as a Chartered accountant in 2010 and worked in an insolvency team for an accounting practice for 4 years prior to joining FRP Advisory in 2010. Yasmin has experience in both corporate and personal insolvency.

Outside of work Yasmin likes socialising with friends and travelling. She also enjoys watching cricket and supports the England Cricket team.
