Paul is an experienced individual with a 20 + year successful track record in business.

An accomplished professional with numerous business skills, commercial finance expertise, and a deep knowledge and understanding of all business financial products Paul jointly launched and founded a trading division of a predecessor firm, a division of which was subsequently acquired by FRP Advisory in 2010.

Paul started in business finance with Bank of Scotland Asset Finance, achieving the level of Branch Manager at the age of 24. After a further 2 years at Bank of Scotland, Paul decided to join a privately owned finance company, achieving a significant shareholding. He sold this company to an American finance group in October 1998.

Buying this business back 2 years later, Paul has since bought, sold and invested in a further 8 businesses.

Paul is responsible for the development of the Asset and Invoice Finance division of FRP known as First Financial. We work closely with our clients and potential funders to provide the correct funding solutions to meet their needs.

Our consultancy work includes providing the full range of Asset Based Lending including sourcing Asset Finance, Invoice Finance, Re-Banking and Vendor Finance Schemes.

When not working, Paul spends as little time as possible following Charlton Athletic.

Martin qualified as an Insolvency Practitioner in 2005 and specialises in administrating corporate recovery matters and advising directors of distressed companies. He manages a corporate recovery team and has many years of experience of all formal insolvency processes.

Martin enjoys most sports, but particularly golf, football (more watching these days) and the gym. Outside of work, he is married and keeps busy with 4 children to run around after.
