Business as usual for Fassaroe House care home
15 July 2010
Fassaroe House, a care home in Deal, Kent, entered into administration on 14 July 2010. Chris Stevens and Ian Vickers, Partners at FRP Advisory LLP, were appointed Joint Administrators of the operating company and receivers over the freehold property.
The care home, which is home to 28 residents and has a staff of 25, was placed into administration following financial difficulties incurred by the operating company. It continues to operate as normal, and there are presently no plans for it to close or for redundancies to be made. It is hoped that arrangements will be reached to enable the care home to continue into the future.
Commenting on the case, Chris Stevens said: "Trading is ongoing and the residents continue to receive the same high level of care and attention. We have completed a financial review of the business and have every hope of continuing to trade the business whilst seeking a purchaser as a going concern, without incurring trading losses."
