FRP Advisory appointed liquidator of Harlings Limited

Harlings Limited, supplier of pet and aquatic products, in Basildon, Essex, was placed into liquidation on 22 February 2011, following financial difficulties.

Chris Stevens and Ian Vickers, partners at FRP Advisory LLP, the specialist restructuring, recovery and insolvency firm, were appointed Joint Liquidators.

Commenting on the case, Chris said: "Unfortunately, it was not viable to rescue the Company and liquidation was the only option. Regrettably, we therefore had to close the business immediately.

"Our strategy now is to focus upon the best means for maximizing realisations of the Company's assets."
