FRP Advisory facilitates sale of Steadfast Television Limited catalogue and rights to Cineflix International Media Limited

The catalogue, and rights pertaining to the catalogue, belonging to Steadfast Television Limited (STL), independent television production company producing programmes for both UK and overseas broadcasters, were successfully sold to Cineflix International Media Limited, on 10 March 2011.

STL entered administration on 12 November 2010, on which date the company ceased trading. Glyn Mummery and Paul Atkinson, partners at FRP Advisory LLP, the specialist restructuring, recovery and insolvency firm, were appointed Joint Administrators.

Commenting on the sale, Glyn said: "Unfortunately, due to adverse market conditions, brought about by a significant reduction in the number of programmes being commissioned by broadcasters, there was no possibility of rescuing the company as a going concern. Our focus has been on maximizing realisations of the Company's assets for the benefit of the creditors."
