FRP Advisory comments:
“We welcome the proposals, as small businesses are crying out for equity investments. If the banks are unable or unwilling to lend to ventures, because they do not meet the new strict bank definition of safe lending, then there needs to be a lender who will. The more risky a venture is to support, the greater any potential returns to investors may be – at the moment ideas are not getting off the drawing board because of the lack of liquidity in the market.”
