Supporting the development and implementation of the People strategy at FRP. This role will be the right-hand person to the People Director and will have responsibility for leading the People Operations and Partnering teams..
Main responsibilities
- Coaching and engaging leadership to foster a high-performance culture while navigating business change and complex employee relations.
- Maintaining strong relationships with leaders to ensure that employee engagement and people operations function efficiently.
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to understand vacancy levels, roadblocks and succession planning.
- Lead and manage the People Partnering & Operations team to ensure they embody organisational values and are responsive to emerging needs .
- Develop and grow the skills of the team, ensuring they provide excellent support to the business
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Location Directors on all people-related matters
- Guide managers on managing performance, culture, and complex employee relations issues.
- Ensure consistency in people practices by overseeing the development of guidance documents, tools, and resources
- Maintain and improve management information, providing updates to key stakeholders (Board, Operational Board, and Partner Group).
- Oversee complex employee relations issues and provide best practice advice on absence management, capability, and restructures.
- Work with internal communications to enhance engagement surveys and follow through on commitments
- Support and embed equality, diversity, and inclusion strategies into everyday people management.
- Lead various HR projects and adapt to operational needs
- Ensure that HR policies are in line with legal requirements and best practices.
Oversee the outsourced payroll function for efficient service delivery
