Kate is one of the UK’s most respected consumer and retail experts, known for her straight-talking insights and deep understanding of shopper behaviour, brand strategy, and business transformation.
With over 20 years’ experience, Kate has led the turnaround of struggling retail brands and shopping centres, helped build powerful consumer propositions, and advised on major restructures and acquisitions. Her work has delivered measurable impact across the retail sector, from high street names to global players.
Kate is a familiar face in the media, regularly appearing on BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, and Sky News, where she shares expert commentary on consumer trends, retail innovation, and economic outlook. Her insights are also featured in Forbes and the Financial Times.
Awarded an MBE for services to business and entrepreneurship, Kate is passionate about connecting commercial success with community impact. Her approach is rooted in actionable insight, helping businesses understand what consumers want and how to deliver it in a fast-changing landscape.
Tony Wright
Tony joined FRP in 2013 as a Partner in Restructuring Advisory, based in our London office. He is a Chartered Accountant and Insolvency Practitioner, and has over 20 years’ experience of advising corporates across all stages of their business life cycle, with a particular focus on distress.
His extensive experience includes the liquidation of the UK’s leading bed manufacturer, the administration and successful sale of a Midlands-based manufacturing company saving over 90% of jobs, and the pre-packaged sale of a men’s clothing retailer that saved more than 600 jobs across Europe.
