A little about Stuart

Stuart joined FRP in 2026 and is a Partner in the Debt Advisory team, based in our Manchester office.

With more than 30 years’ experience in dealmaking and asset-based lending, Stuart has held senior leadership roles at several blue-chip institutions, including Lloyds Banking Group, Barclays and GE Capital. He co-founded Praetura Commercial Finance in 2016 and went on to lead the business in delivering over £500 million of funding to entrepreneurs, business owners and sponsors across the UK.

In his new role, he will work closely with colleagues across our national office network to support clients with funding for growth, acquisitions, institutional carve outs and debt refinancing. He brings an extensive track record in understanding, structuring and delivering complex funding solutions, underpinned by deep technical expertise in asset-based lending.
