The deal

Our Corporate Finance team has successfully helped Create Health Limited (“Create”) raise £5m development capital from Livingbridge.

Create is a fertility clinic specialising in Natural and Mild IVF, based in London. Natural and Mild IVF uses lower levels of drugs and is cheaper, safer and healthier for the mother and baby. The more natural approach to IVF is more common in advanced overseas fertility markets such as Scandinavia, South Korea and Japan, and other parts of Europe.

Create was founded by Professor Geeta Nargund and Professor Stuart Campbell in 2000. Fertility services are provided from its two London clinics in Harley Street and Raynes Park. Create employs c.30 staff and delivers over 800 cycles per annum. Professors Nargund and Campbell are eminent clinicians with international reputations through their research and development of Natural, Modified and Mild IVF. The investment by Livingbridge will support Create to open a flagship clinic and centre of excellence in Central London in late 2013. It is envisaged further clinics will be opened thereafter, domestically and internationally.
