Top 3 sectors
In 2025 our top three performing sectors by deal value were:
- Business Services (33 per cent), including legal and professional services, and specialist consultancy, such as marketing, recruitment, building planning, environmental, fire safety and security.
- Property Services (20 per cent), including businesses involved in property management and estate agency.
- Industrials & Manufacturing (15 per cent) including food production, building products and automotive components.
In addition, we have closed transactions in many other sectors where FRP Corporate Finance have specialist expertise, including Consumer Products, Technology and Construction.
Private equity
We continued to see good activity from Private Equity in 2024 – with over 56% of our closed deals involving Private Equity investment.
Our continued commitment to Private Equity was recognised this year when we were once again announced as the winners in the Corporate Finance House of the Year: UK category at the 2025 Real Deals Private Equity Awards, following our win in the same category in 2023.

Advisers to leading provider of social housing regeneration services, Buston & Maughan, in securing a minority investment from Foresight Group.
Hawkswell Kilvington
Advisers to specialist law firm, Hawkswell Kilvington, on its sale to Beyond Law Group.
JS Group
Advisers to payment technology provider, JS Group, in securing a minority investment from NatWest.
