FRP’s Forensic Services team further strengthens global expertise

We’re pleased to announce that our relationship with global advisory organisation Eight International has been enhanced with the launch of a new international Forensics & Dispute Resolution Network.

The move will foster close collaboration of Eight International members, specialising in forensic and dispute resolution projects to deliver complex cross-border projects.

As a member of Eight International since 2021, the new network will enable us to better support our clients, helping them to navigate and solve developing challenges and to react efficiently and confidently to a variety of complex issues.

The scope of the network will include dispute services, where our team will support in-house and external legal counsel through litigation and arbitration in different jurisdictions and in a wide range of industries. It will also include investigations for clients who experience potential fraud, misconduct, bribery, corruption and other financial business risk issues. In addition, our compliance and risk advisory services will help prevent or detect violations of laws and regulations relating to money laundering, fraud, bribery and corruption to mitigate the risk of future issues.

Our team will also provide forensic technology services by gathering and managing information to uncover essential facts that can be used to address litigation issues, investigations, regulatory and compliance matters.

Eight International was set up in 2016, to meet a growing demand for dedicated financial and operational support for businesses with an international footprint. With more than 3,600 team members, including more than 160 partners across more than 30 jurisdictions, the organisation has a strong reputation and track record for creating, preserving, and recovering value across a range of complex situations and industries.

Its advisers support board-level corporate clients, law firms, public sector bodies, charities, private equity funds and leading investment banks to help navigate challenges across transactions, restructuring, operational transformation, litigation and asset searches, integrity due diligence and forensic investigations.

Commenting on the launch of Eight International’s new Forensics & Dispute Resolution Network, Chris Osborne, Partner at FRP, said: “We know just how important it is to be able to support our clients on international matters, and, as a member of Eight International, we’re fortunate to be part of a network of leading industry experts that can provide country-specific expertise and invaluable ‘on-the-ground’ knowledge in every corner of the globe.

“Now, with the launch of this new International Forensics and Dispute Resolution Network, our clients will have access to an extended, highly specialised, multilingual team of experts who can help to deliver complex projects in a variety of issues, from investigations and dispute services to compliance and risk advisory, and forensic technology.”

Speaking of the new service line, Pascal Raidron, President of Eight International, said: “We launched Eight International few years ago because we wanted to meet the growing demand of investment funds and corporates for independent, dedicated financial and operational support in their international operations.

“Our job often goes beyond transactions, restructuring and transformation. That’s why we decided to launch a separate service line dedicated to a broad variety of complex issues requiring reducing adverse financial, reputational, or operational impacts. We have developed a global customer-oriented philosophy that focuses on the client’s needs as the main driver of our services. Support that we provide, regardless of its kind, is always tailored to our clients’ unique business and goals.”

With the launch of this new international forensics and dispute resolution network, our clients will have access to an extended, highly specialised, multilingual team of experts who can help to deliver complex projects in a variety of issues. Chris Osborne Partner
