We have promoted restructuring advisory specialist Steve Baluchi to Director amid a series of senior promotions across the UK.
Steve joined our Brighton office in 2018 and has more than 15 years’ industry experience advising corporate boards, stakeholders and individuals facing financial challenges. In his new role, he will continue to provide clients with restructuring support, helping to meet the ongoing growth in demand for our business advisory services as we expand our network in the South East.
Steve has broad sector expertise, with specialisms including manufacturing, real estate, aviation, hospitality and the not-for-profit sector. Notable recent cases include the administration of a specialist manufacturing facility, which resulted in a management buyout, saving the jobs of 559 employees across the UK. He also advised on the administration of a major aviation group based at Gatwick Airport, which resulted in the sale of the group’s two main businesses to secure its future.
Steve’s promotion comes as we announce 11 promotions across the UK, including in our Brentwood, Birmingham, London, Leicester, Manchester and Newcastle offices.
Steve Baluchi, Director at FRP, said: “These are difficult times for businesses across the UK. Having access to expert advice can help business leaders alleviate pressures by giving them the tools to plan practical and effective strategies, spot potential red flags early and communicate with employees and stakeholders at every step of the way. I’m proud to be part of the dynamic team at FRP, and I’m committed to continuing to grow our network across the South and in the Solent area, so we can continue to help businesses find solutions to complex challenges.”
Ian Vickers, Partner at FRP, added: “Steve is a highly regarded member of the team, and provides exceptional client service, and clear and honest advice. He’s delivered outstanding results for clients since joining the firm, helping them to create, preserve and recover value in a range of situations. We continue to see a rise in demand for the services we deliver across our business, and Steve will play an important role in helping to grow our presence to meet this. I’d like to congratulate him on his achievements to date.”
