We are pleased to announce our plans to open a new office in Southampton following the appointment of Restructuring Advisory Partner, Sandy Kinninmonth.
Sandy has been appointed to launch our new office after a career spanning more than 30 years providing restructuring advice to SMEs, owner-managed businesses and large corporations in the UK and Hong Kong.
He advises businesses across all industries, including those in construction, engineering, leisure and hospitality, and financial services, at all stages of the corporate life cycle. This includes supporting businesses with restructuring matters, shareholder disputes, the introduction of new finance, debt restructuring and negotiations with creditors, as well as formal restructuring appointments.
In recent times he has advised on the informal wind down of a regulated bank, negotiated with key stakeholders to avoid the formal insolvency of a multi-site restaurant group and undertaken numerous reviews for bank and asset-based lenders across various sectors.
His experience ranges from acting as a restructuring adviser to local owner-managed businesses to being appointed as the Administrator of the multi-national bar and restaurant group Chiquito’s.
In his new role, Sandy will launch our new Southampton office, located at Mountbatten House in Grosvenor Square.
Opening in early March, the new location establishes an on-the-ground presence for FRP in Hampshire for the first time and enables us to expand our Restructuring Advisory and Corporate Finance support to clients across the south of England.
Commenting on his appointment, Sandy said: “The launch of the new Southampton office is an exciting opportunity for FRP to expand its footprint on the south coast and we are already working to build a first-class team for the city.
“I’ll be joined by colleagues in our Restructuring Advisory and Corporate Finance teams, and we are looking forward to meeting and working with the region’s business community, providing the highest quality service to clients while continuing to drive growth for FRP. It’s a real pleasure to be joining FRP, which has an unrivalled depth of expertise, a reputation for exceptional client service and a proven track record of delivering tangible results.”
Jeremy French, COO at FRP, added: “Sandy brings vast experience to the role and is ideally placed to lead our new team in Southampton. We’re committed to providing a market-leading service to our clients at this critical time, while continuing to grow our practice across the region.”
Our new office in Southampton will be located at Mountbatten House, a carefully restored Georgian building at the heart of the city’s central business district. The office features modern workspaces, meeting rooms and collaboration spaces to support future expansion.
