We are delighted to announce the opening of a new Cambridge office and the appointment of Corporate Finance Partner Dan Bowtell.

With more than 20 years’ experience advising businesses on all aspects of M&A and value creation, Dan specialises in helping entrepreneurs and owner-managed businesses to achieve their growth ambitions. He has led a large number of national and international mid-market transactions to successful completion, ranging in value from £2 million to more than £100 million.

He focuses on supporting mid-market businesses with exit planning, equity realisation, commercial strategies, raising equity and debt finance, buyouts and accelerated M&A. This includes working across a broad range of sectors and advising on both buy-side and sell-side, in particular for deals backed by a private equity investor.

Dan’s appointment coincides with the launch of our first office in Cambridge, which has opened at Nine Hills Road, and follows a significant period of growth for FRP following the acquisition of JDC Group. Over the last 12 months, we have grown our headcount by 25 per cent in the East of England and our 20-strong team, which includes five Partners and four directors, will now work across our offices in Norwich and Cambridge.

I know the region well having worked across the East of England throughout my career and am looking forward to growing our team and supporting the ambitions of businesses across the region.”

The launch of our Cambridge office also follows the promotion of Norwich based Corporate Finance specialists James Cooper, Matt Field and Ryan Symonds to Director and the appointment of Corporate Finance Executive Ben Lambert. Further senior appointments into the Cambridge office are planned over the next few months.

Our new office is located in Cambridge city’s central business district and has space for a 10-strong team, enabling us to accommodate future expansion.
