Forensic Services Partners recognised for excellence

We are pleased to announce that Partners Chris Osborne and Nishad Morjaria in our Forensic Services team have been independently recognised as leaders in their field by Who’s Who Legal (WWL).

Over nearly two decades WWL has used the recommendations of clients and private practitioners to name the world’s leading lawyers and forensic experts. Its rigorous selection process uses comprehensive, independent research to determine its rankings and only the foremost practitioners are recognised as the industry’s leading experts.

In this year’s rankings, Chris has been named a Thought Leader in GIR – Investigations Forensic Accountants 2020 – which recognises individuals for their insight, expertise and wisdom. He is also recommended as a Global Leader in three further categories: Asset Recovery Experts 2020; Financial Advisory and Valuation – Quantum of Damages 2020; and Forensic Accountants 2020. Additionally, Nishad has been ranked a Future Leader in Arbitration Future Leaders – Expert Witnesses 2020 – a list that identifies the market leaders of the future from across the global legal community.

With more than 20 years’ experience, Chris’ expertise spans disputes, fraud, bribery and corruption investigations, regulatory inquiries, and compliance and risk advisory assignments. He joined FRP in 2016 to set up and lead the Forensic Services team, and has acted as a party-appointed expert on behalf of claimants and defendants, as a single joint expert and as an expert determiner. He is described by WWL as “earning widespread accolades as ‘a great investigator and forensic accountant’.”

Nishad has spent the past 15 years focusing on the quantification of damages, valuation of business losses, forensic accounting advice and the provision of expert evidence in international arbitration (commercial and investment treaty), commercial and contractual disputes and post M&A disputes.

He is described by WWL as “an expert renowned for his forensic work by peers in the international arbitration field. He is ‘a pleasure to work with’ and peers applaud his ‘credible and well-founded expert opinions’​.”
