Marco Piacquadio joins FRP as a Restructuring Advisory Partner

We are pleased to announce our plans to launch a new office in Milton Keynes following the appointment of Restructuring Advisory Partner, Marco Piacquadio.

With more than 16 years’ experience, Marco supports clients on a broad range of corporate and personal restructuring and insolvency matters. He has significant expertise in identifying and implementing effective restructuring solutions for businesses and their stakeholders. This includes leading the successful rescue and sale of a number of businesses out of administration, such as a multi-site plumbing and heating merchant based in East Anglia; a golf club and hotel in the eastern counties; a chain of coffee shops; and an iconic and well-known fragrance brand.

Over the last three years, Marco has led more than 250 corporate appointments across a variety of sectors, including retail, hospitality and leisure. He also supports clients through Company Voluntary Arrangements, shareholder dispute issues, business and share disposals, solvent and insolvent liquidations, and contentious insolvency matters.

In his new role, Marco will launch our Milton Keynes office. This establishes an on-the-ground presence for FRP in Buckinghamshire for the first time and enables us to expand our support to clients across the northern home counties.

Marco has a strong network of contacts across the private equity, venture capital and family office industries, in addition to structured finance providers and local intermediary accounting and legal professionals, and will focus on leveraging this network to drive new appointments. He will also lead the recruitment of a new team in Milton Keynes to support our growth in the region.

Commenting on his appointment, Marco said: “I’ve always admired FRP, both in terms of their approach to restructuring appointments and the quality and complexity of cases they’re working on. We share many of the same values, particularly when it comes to focusing on a business rescue and an outcome that delivers the strongest return for creditors.

“FRP’s ability to support clients with the best service line to get the strongest result – be that Restructuring Advisory, Debt Advisory, Forensic Services or Corporate Finance – is also something that really stood out and the prospect of joining the firm to establish its first office in Milton Keynes is an opportunity I couldn’t turn down. I am looking forward to hitting the ground running. Over the next few months I will be focused on the expansion of our team so we can continue to provide the highest quality service to clients across the northern home counties and continue to drive forward the growth of the business.”

Jeremy French, COO of FRP, added: “Marco’s experience and knowledge of the local market, along with his connections in the local intermediary community, demonstrate that he is well placed to launch our Milton Keynes office. His appointment gives us a really strong footing in the region, and I have no doubt that he will play an integral role in the expansion of our firm and the support we continue to provide to businesses across the region.”

Our new office in Milton Keynes will be located in Witan Studios with vast desk space, complete with a meeting room and collaboration space to support future expansion.
