FRP acquires One Advisory Group

The acquisition strengthens the firms Financial Advisory offering

Specialist business advisory firm FRP has acquired One Advisory Group (One Advisory) as it continues to expand its national Financial Advisory offering.

Headquartered in London, One Advisory provides financial reporting and transaction advisory, and governance services to more than 100 clients across the UK and internationally, the majority of whom are listed on the London Stock Exchange. It has grown to become one of the City’s leading advisory firms and comprehensively guides clients through the complexities of the corporate governance and financial reporting landscape.

This acquisition marks another important step in the expansion of our national financial advisory pillar; it broadens our transactional services offering and adds new governance advisory capabilities.

One Advisory employs 41 people, all of whom will join FRP as part of the deal. This includes directors Matt Wood, Laura Nuttall and Michael Butler who all join FRP as partners. Following the transaction, the financial reporting team will go-to-market under the FRP brand, whilst the governance team will continue to trade as One Advisory.

The deal marks FRP’s 14th acquisition since its IPO in March 2020 and is part of an organic and acquisitive growth strategy that enables FRP to increase market share, broaden its service offering to clients and expand its geographical footprint. It follows the recent acquisitions of valuation specialists Globalview Advisors and corporate finance specialists WilliamsAli and Lexington.
