Appointment of Michael Brian expands our Forensic Services offering
We’ve launched a new Forensic Services team in Manchester with the appointment of Michael Brian as a Director.
This strategic move enhances FRP’s Forensic Services capabilities in the region and complements our already strong Restructuring Advisory and Corporate Finance practices in the city.
Michael, who joins FRP from Deloitte, brings 20 years’ experience in forensic accounting, specialising in complex disputes and investigations. He advises a broad range of clients – from legal teams to FTSE100 and FTSE250 corporates and financial institutions – on commercial disputes and contentious valuations. He has also been appointed as an expert witness to UK Courts and has conducted UK corporate and major cross-border investigations in Germany and Saudi Arabia.
Michael’s arrival continues our expansion as we look to meet growing demand for forensic services across the UK and internationally.
In his new role, Michael will work closely with our 50-plus strong Forensic Services team to support the delivery of our full range of Forensic Services, which include forensic investigations, dispute services, forensic technology and compliance and risk advisory.
Michael Brian, Director at FRP, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to not only deepen FRP’s Forensic Services coverage, but to draw on FRP’s closely integrated service lines to deliver complete solutions to clients’ needs. At FRP, the expertise to help is in-house and on-hand – and in Manchester we now have the full range of service lines all under one roof. I’m excited to get started.”
Chris Osborne, Forensic Services Partner at FRP, said: “Michael’s arrival continues our expansion as we look to meet growing demand for Forensic Services across the UK and internationally. His deep experience, technical expertise and strong relationships make him a valuable addition to the team, and I look forward to working with him as we continue to build out and strengthen our offering.”
Michael’s appointment closely follows our expansion into Belfast with a four-strong Forensic Services team, led by Partner Alison Hollywood and covering Northern Ireland and Scotland. We now have an on-the-ground forensic services offering in London, East Anglia, Birmingham, Leeds, Bristol, Manchester and Belfast. These continued investments reflect our strategy to expand our service offering and geographical footprint to support clients.
