FRP’s Financial Advisory team supports Finelight Group Ltd in its latest acquisition of Tungsten Publishing Ltd, a renowned multimedia company known for its market-leading brands, Global Custodian and The TRADE
Background
Finelight Group Ltd is a digital media, events and marketing solutions group operating globally. Founded in 2016, the company is an industry leader in business media working with household brands such as Harvard University, General Motors, Pepsi, The World Bank and Mercedes Benz. The company aims to strategically build a closely connected network of leading media, events and marketing businesses in order to strengthen their offering in the market.
Having previously supported the group on its 2024 acquisition of A Team Consulting Ltd, FRP was once again engaged to advise on its latest strategic expansion of multimedia company, Tungsten Publishing Ltd.
Action
FRP Financial Advisory Director, Joanne Price alongside Corporate Finance Partner, Chris Adlam and Director, Matt Field, undertook financial due diligence for the company and the lender. Our multidisciplinary approach brought together tax expertise and buyside advisors to help the group navigate complex financial considerations and ensure the transaction reached a successful conclusion.
Outcome
Following our review, the lender approved the additional funding, enabling Finelight Group to successfully acquire Tungsten Publishing Ltd.
The acquisition enhances Finelight’s portfolio, leveraging Tungsten Publishing’s market-leading brands – Global Custodian and The TRADE – to expand their reach and offering.
By ensuring financial clarity and strategic alignment, FRP helped Finelight secure the right backing for its expansion, enabling a seamless integration of Tungsten Publishing into its growing portfolio.
We are delighted to have supported Finelight with financial due diligence and buyside advice for a second time, enabling a seamless integration of Tungsten Publishing into its growing portfolio.
