A little about Russell
Russell joined FRP in 2010, and is a Director within our Restructuring Advisory team in Brentwood. He has extensive investigation experience, having previously been part of HMRC’s Insolvency Compliance Team in London.
In addition to establishing and overseeing Insolvency Act and Companies Act claims, Russell is involved with contentious insolvency claims, where detailed and complex investigations result in claims requiring the knowledge of the investigation from commencement to court application.
He has been involved in and led both corporate and individual claims under the insolvency legislation, achieving a significant settlement of an action against HMRC on behalf of a bonded warehouse company; the recovery of properties misappropriated by the director of a property development and letting company; and the removal of a sham charge against a bankrupt’s property granted to a family member.
