Chad Griffin joins Edinburgh Restructuring Advisory team

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Chad Griffin as Partner to our Restructuring Advisory team in Edinburgh. He joins FRP from an independent global business advisory firm in London, a practice that he helped launch and grow for the last 15 years.

Chad has 26 years of restructuring and insolvency experience across the full range of corporate situations, including cross-border restructurings and many UK mid-market restructurings and insolvencies.

His sector experience includes oil and gas, offshore marine, renewables, retail, construction, manufacturing, real estate, IT and leisure and features high profile cases such as the Iona Energy company voluntary arrangement (CVA) and restructuring, Xcite Energy liquidation and sale, Sea Trucks liquidation, the Debenhams administration and the insolvency of Pride Dundee.

Commenting on his appointment, Chad said: “I am delighted to be joining the FRP team in Scotland and look forward to playing a key role developing and growing the practice. I have gained a great deal of valuable restructuring and insolvency experience in many sectors and am keen to help businesses and advisers tackle some of the serious financial challenges that lie ahead.”
