FRP expands network following new office opening

We’re boosting our presence in the North East with the opening of a third office in the region.

In a move to increase our support for clients in Sunderland and Durham and expand our footprint in the region, we’re taking space at Sunderland City Council’s Evolve Business Centre in Houghton-le-Spring.

The move builds on our existing presence in the North East, with established offices in Newcastle and Teesside, and will initially host eight employees from our Restructuring Advisory team.

The opening of the Houghton-le-Spring office is also part of our ongoing growth strategy. It follows a series of new office openings in Southampton, Cambridge, Glasgow and Milton Keynes in recent months, and increases our national footprint of offices.

Andrew Haslam, Restructuring Advisory Partner at FRP, said: “The North East stands to benefit from a number of growth initiatives in the coming years, which will boost connectivity and the local economy as firms in the region continue to innovate.

“However, we understand that many businesses are experiencing challenging times, with supply chain disruption and increased operating costs impacting their ability to effectively bounce back from the pandemic period.  At this critical time, we’re committed to providing a market-leading service to support our clients and referrers, while continuing to grow our practice across the North East.”

Jeremy French, Chief Operating Officer at FRP, added: “This is an exciting time to be a part of FRP as we see increasing demand for our services across the UK. We’re expanding, recruiting and increasing our support for clients right across the UK, as a result of our teams’ growing reputation for excellence and track record of delivering the highest quality service.

“We’ll continue to build on these foundations in the North East throughout 2022 and look forward to welcoming new colleagues to the team in the near future.”
