With the majority of the UK hotel sector preparing to make the most of another summer in which the British public may have no alternative but to holiday in the UK, the sector faces a difficult 2021. Although hotels will rebound strongly in the coming years, and the asset class is still seen as highly attractive to inbound investment, there are significant operational and financial challenges for operators to overcome as they plan their recovery against a backdrop of uncertainty.
