We’re delighted to welcome Daniel Jonas to FRP
Specialist business advisory firm FRP has appointed Daniel Jonas as a Partner in its Financial Advisory team, to spearhead the growth of its Transaction services offering.
Daniel joins from Azets, where he spent more than a decade establishing and growing the business’ financial due diligence & advisory offering, leading a period of significant expansion in both headcount and revenue.
His experience spans a broad range of sectors including technology, business services, consumer brands and healthcare. He has advised on over 100 deals, ranging in value from £5 million to £100 million, supporting numerous private equity firms, debt funds, private companies and PLCs.
In his new role, Daniel will work closely alongside FRP Partners Justin Matthews and Richard Sanfourche, experienced transaction services Directors Max Whitehead and James Norman, as well as newly appointed private equity specialist Jessica Ring to further strengthen the firm’s proposition for mid-market investors and corporates.
Operating from the firm’s London office, he will provide buy-side and sell-side (vendor) financial due diligence on mid-market transactions, while also expanding the dedicated team within FRP’s financial advisory practice.
This follows a period of strong growth in the space, with the firm advising on 50 private equity deals with a combined value of over £1.3 billion in 2024.
Dan Jonas, Partner at FRP, said: “FRP has already built a strong national reputation through its corporate finance and debt advisory teams, and I see a huge opportunity to replicate this success in transaction services. The firm has a fantastic reputation, a strong network of relationships and a clear growth strategy, which makes this the perfect platform to build something truly market leading.
“Having worked closely with private equity investors, debt providers and corporate acquirers throughout my career, I know how important high-quality diligence is to delivering successful deals. I look forward to working with colleagues across FRP as we continue to grow our transaction services team and expand our reach across the UK.”
Justin Matthews, Partner at FRP, said: “Dan’s appointment is a significant milestone for FRP as we continue to grow our financial advisory practice. He brings a wealth of experience in financial due diligence and a proven track record of building successful teams.
“His knowledge of the private equity market and strong relationships across the sector will be invaluable as we expand our support for clients on both buy-side and sell-side transactions. By adding dedicated expertise in this area, we’re enhancing our ability to provide a truly full-service advisory offering to investors and corporates alike.”
