Consulting

In addition to supporting clients with individual cases, we are also available to offer more flexible advisory services, whether for established or newly emerging lenders who are keen to tap in to our expertise in the specialist lending sector.

We conduct our advisory offering on a case-by-case basis, adapting our approach and our offering to fit the needs of our clients. Below are some of the more recent examples of this approach and the positive outcomes we achieved for our clients.

Case studies

Recent examples include loan portfolio due diligence, property investment advice, training workshops and risk assessments.

UK challenger bank

Working closely with a new start-up UK Challenger Bank as it progressed through the regulatory process to obtain a banking licence. Our team were engaged to create several core policies and procedures in relation to lending operations, broker management, loan monitoring and recoveries to support the project team within a new start-up Bank focussed on specialist property loans.

In addition our remit for this project included a comprehensive review of the key operational systems, leading to vendor selection and scoping out requirements and product configuration, to ensure that the project team had sufficient insight to deliver a solution for the targeted specialist lending market.

Credit team training on property risk

With the extensive range of properties that our team visit, we are perfectly placed to provide your underwriting team with additional insight based on what we’ve learned over the years. Typically informal, these sessions can be tailored to meet your own needs to address particular focus areas, however our key objective is to make it as practical and informative as possible. We know that by getting closer to lending (and servicing) teams, you can avoid potential pitfalls and make better informed lending and recovery decisions by getting a view from our side of the fence.
