A little about Dougal
Dougal Baxter is a Transaction Services Partner in FRP’s Financial Advisory team. Based in Birmingham, he has more than 25 years’ experience advising corporates, private equity investors and entrepreneurial businesses on acquisitions, disposals, carve-outs and refinancing transactions.
Dougal specialises in buy side and sell side financial due diligence and vendor assistance engagements. He advises clients throughout the deal process, providing financial analysis and insights to support investment and strategic decision-making. His experience includes complex cross-border assignments and multi-jurisdictional transactions involving multiple due diligence workstreams.
Before joining FRP, Dougal held senior positions at EY and BDO, where he was a Deal Advisory Partner specialised in Transaction Services. Over the course of his career, he has advised acquisitive corporates, private equity firms and management teams on a broad range of mid-market and private equity-backed transactions.
His experience spans a variety of sectors, with particular expertise in industrials, business services and technology. He has advised investors, lenders and management teams on a wide range of transactions, providing financial insights and analysis across all stages of the deal lifecycle.
At FRP, Dougal advises corporates, private equity investors and lenders on acquisitions, disposals, refinancing processes and carve-outs. He works closely with management teams and stakeholders to support transaction execution across a range of domestic and international engagements.
