James joined FRP in 2017 and is a Director in the Financial Advisory team, based in our London office. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2016 and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
A little about James
James joined FRP in 2017 and is a Director in the Financial Advisory team, based in our London office. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2016 and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS).
James specialises in advising private equity, management teams and lenders on financial due diligence assignments for transactions in the UK mid-market, as well as having corporate advisory experience in turnaround situations.
In 2022, James undertook a 12-month secondment with the investments team at a private capital fund, gaining hands-on experience in deal origination, investment appraisal and portfolio management across a range of sectors and capital structures.
Recent assignments include leading the buy-side financial due diligence for a private equity investment in a cyber security business and advising international private equity investors on their cross-border acquisition of the world’s largest baby and toddler swimming school.
