A little about Philip
Philip Davies joined FRP in 2026, and is a Partner in FRP’s Financial Advisory team within our Public Company Advisory offering. Based in London, he has 35 years’ experience advising public companies, primarily quoted in London, with some dual-listed on NASDAQ in the US.
Philip advises companies across the full corporate lifecycle, from IPOs, secondary fundraisings and buy-and-build strategies to takeovers, take-privates and strategic M&A. His experience spans a broad range of sectors and includes special situations, with particular expertise across healthcare and life sciences, technology, industrials and natural resources.
His IPO highlights include AdvancedAdvT Limited, Parkdean Holidays plc, Aurrigo International plc and Mereo BioPharma Group plc. Recent public company takeover and advisory roles include advising Globe Invest on the acquisition of Best of the Best plc, public-to-private transactions for GRC International plc and Induction Healthcare Group plc, and the successful refinancing of Leicester Tigers.
At FRP, Philip provides strategic, commercially focused advice to public companies, growth businesses and boards considering public markets activity, helping them navigate fundraising, regulatory requirements and complex corporate transactions.
