A little about Simon

Simon joined FRP in 2013 and is a Partner in the Restructuring Advisory team based at our Manchester office. He is a qualified corporate advisory professional with many years’ experience in advising businesses facing financial or operational challenges across a wide range of sectors, including manufacturing, construction, retail and property.

Simon works alongside companies and their key stakeholders – typically clearing banks, asset-based lenders and mid-market private equity funds – to find and implement the most effective solutions, whether that is a turnaround, refinancing, restructuring or an insolvency process. Those solutions have included the accelerated sale process of a market-leading manufacturer and distributor of adaptive bathroom products, and a six-week accelerated mergers and acquisitions process for the manufacturer of high-end holiday homes, securing ongoing employment for all staff and the repayment of lenders.

Simon completed a 14-month secondment to RBS’s restructuring team in 2014, working with SME businesses.
