New appointment supports ongoing growth plans across the North East

We have appointed a new Director to support our ongoing growth plans across the North East.

Tonya Allison has been promoted from Senior Manager to Director. She will now work closely with Partner Andrew Haslam to support the 10-strong team as they deliver corporate restructuring and turnaround solutions to the region’s businesses.

With more than 11 years’ experience working in the restructuring sector, Tonya has spent the majority of her career supporting firms across Northumberland, Durham and Newcastle upon Tyne.

Her promotion follows a strong period of growth for us in the North East, and in the past 12 months our Newcastle office has appointed a new apprentice and our Teesside team has moved to a new 2,000 sq ft premises.

Commenting on her new role, Tonya said: “With today’s businesses facing a number of challenges, from ongoing economic uncertainty to troubles on the high street, we’re seeing an increased demand from firms for specialist support and advice.

“I’ve grown-up in the North East and I want to see the region thrive. My aim is to ensure that companies that may be experiencing difficulties receive the first class-consultancy they need to help their business get ahead.”

Andrew added: “Tonya’s wealth of sector expertise and in-depth knowledge of the local market means that she’s ideally placed to support firms here in the North East. She has an excellent reputation across the business community and will play an integral role as we continue to invest and expand our services to better support clients across the region.”

We now employ more than 300 staff across 19 locations, including Newcastle and Teesside. We provide clients with the full suite of business advisory services including corporate restructuring, corporate finance, forensic services, pensions advisory and debt funding.
