FRP advises Encore Property Management on its acquisition

Background

Based in Cambridge, Encore Property Management is one of the largest Residential Managing Agents (RMAs) in the country, providing a range of estate management services to its portfolio across the UK.

FRP have supported Encore since the management buyout backed by private equity investor Queen’s Park Equity (QPE) in 2021, and subsequent bolt acquisitions of property developer, PREIM and Knight Frank’s Residential Asset Management division.

Action

Aspect was founded 19 years ago and has since built an enviable reputation serving long-standing resident management company clients, primarily across West London.

Our Financial Advisory team, led by Director Joanne Price, was appointed to carry out financial and tax due diligence on the transaction – being Encore’s third acquisition since the QPE investment.

Outcome

This acquisition will see Encore expand presence in central London and continue building its portfolio of super prime developments, and enable Aspect’s co-founders, Chris Remers and James Pickering, who will continue to lead the Aspect team, to leverage Encore’s shared resources and software platform to continue to deliver a high level of service to its clients.
