We are delighted to have appointed Ben Stanyon as a Director within our Restructuring Advisory team.

Ben advises businesses across all stages of the corporate life cycle in a range of sectors, including leisure, real estate, construction, retail and manufacturing. Ben has supported many SMEs and owner managed businesses on a variety of restructuring situations. He will lead both advisory assignments and formal insolvencies, focusing primarily on supporting clients in Kent and the wider South East market.

He joins our 85-strong Restructuring Advisory team in London and the South East having recently led the administration of a plastic polymer manufacturer, successfully securing a buyer for the business while protecting the roles of all employees.

Commenting on the appointment, Geoff Carton-Kelly, Partner at FRP, said: “While the UK economy has rebounded in recent weeks, many businesses across the South East continue to exhibit signs of financial stress. Our clients rely on us to provide the guidance to both alleviate and avoid those pressures which is why we look to welcome and invest in experienced advisers like Ben. I’ve no doubt he’ll continue to prove a valuable asset for business leaders in Kent while growing our presence in the wider region.”

Ben Stanyon, Director in London, added: “FRP has developed an outstanding reputation in recent years, generating a high-profile client base via a team of widely-recognised industry figures. I’m looking forward to working closely with the team as well as advising our clients as they look to navigate the challenges and opportunities of running a business in 2020.”
