North Shire is situated in a rural destination location off Liverton Road, on the northern edge of the North York Moors National Park. The site benefits from having peaceful moorland outlooks, whilst being accessible to the A171 which is the main road linking Whitby to Teesside.
Being situated on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, North Shire provides an ideal base to explore the surrounding natural landscape, with the highly popular tourist town of Whitby being only 13 or so miles distant. The desirable regional location and accessibility to both Whitby and Teesside mean that the location lends itself to other similar holiday/ leisure uses such as a holiday park or holiday cottage complex.
Scaling Dam Reservoir is only two miles away and offers sailing , paddle sports and open water swimming activities.
