FRP APPOINTS NEW PARTNER TO STRENGTHEN RESTRUCTURING TEAM

Emma Thompson joins our REstructuring Advisory team strengthening it’s contentious insolvency and cross-border asset recovery capabilities.

FRP Advisory has appointed Emma Thompson as a Partner specialising in restructuring and recovery, further strengthening its specialist contentious insolvency, asset recovery and enforcement advisory capabilities both in the UK and overseas.

Emma joins with more than 20 years’ experience advising businesses, lenders, creditors and stakeholders on complex insolvency and recovery matters. She began her career in banking, before moving into insolvency and qualifying as both an accountant and insolvency practitioner.

Her experience includes asset tracing, investigating potential misfeasance, breach of duty, negligence and other creditor recovery actions, with a particular focus on identifying, preserving and recovering value in complex situations.

Emma’s work includes global enforcement advisory, supporting clients on cross-border matters across offshore jurisdictions and international markets. Her expertise helps clients to achieve exceptional results by responding to increasingly complex issues.

In her new role at FRP, Emma will focus on growing the firm’s market leading contentious insolvency offering, with a particular emphasis on cross-border asset recovery, misconduct / negligence, and global enforcement mandates.

Emma’s appointment further strengthens senior female representation within FRP and supports the firm’s commitment to developing and retaining diverse talent.
